Switch off the power when changing the water. 5. Use only cold water and avoid pumping liquids with a temperature higher than 86°F. 6. Ensure the water is free of sand, gravel, or salt. 7. If not in use for an extended period, remove the pump from the water, operate it in clean water, and clean the parts before storing. 8. If the pump stops working, the flow rate decreases, or the noise increases, stop using it immediately, disassemble, and clean the internal dirt before resuming use. 9. If the temperature is below 32°F, remove the pump from the water and drain the accumulated water to avoid damage from freezing.
